Day 6 - to Poitiers

Just another casual day riding through the fields of France, seeing small towns and ending up in Poitiers just before the next wave of intense rain came down.

For the next two days I'm staying in a hotel here to get some more rest and to get a chance to clean and dry my clothes.

On the way here I met an older German gentleman and we rode together until he split off to meet up with his wife. Mostly talking about politics, globalisation and climate change. You know, light conversation. 😝

Tomorrow I'll explore the town and on Saturday I will probably take the train to Bordeaux and skip some of the countryside (and the rain) so I can head over to the coast.Read more
