Day 8 - Train to Bordeaux

With one more day of rain expected I decided to take the train to Bordeaux. It will get me within half a day of riding to the coast and gives me some time to explore the city.

I'm staying in a hostel tonight and it's fully booked. The area is pretty nice though. It's a bit of an art district in a former industrial area but pretty slick in most places. Pretty much all the design hotel chains are here. 😋

The city itself is pretty nice. Along the river is a long row of waterfront shops and restaurants, some of them even being useful!

Tonight I will just relax a bit in the hostel and start riding towards nicer weather in the morning!Read more
