Took air train over a few stops. Passed by the TWA hotel. Now we are checking bags!

Ok, not till 5:30p. Singapore has strict entry restrictions, but transiting passengers will find travel easy with approved docs.

Beyond that, the experience has been awful. Everyone has different or invalid information. They bumped back the start of checking-in, and each passenger requires nearly 20 mins of work to get boarding pass, with one line. Insane! We were first in line but an agent (who put me in that lane.) made me move to the other side of a rope (1ft) and had us go to back instead of just walking directly up first. Totally ignorant involvement. Pic of the two lines included.

Finally got boarding passes after very complicated document checks. Our agent had to get the supervisor 4 times.

I got Pre-check, Tom did not. I took his bag and went through Clear. Security was a breeze.Read more
