Lunch venue today - The Boiler House Restaurant at the Hydro Majestic.
The building was once the boiler house for the Hydro Majestic Hotel, supplying hot water for spas and heating etc.
The menu offered a two course meal and drink 'special'.
We decided on entree and main. I swapped my wine for a pale ale. The serves were big. My seafood entree would have been enough.
We had a wander through the pavilion gift shop and a sticky at the old hotel.Read more
