    Headed off from Cradle Mountain towards Strahan via Tullah and Zeehan.

    Tullah has a little steam train called Wee Georgie Wood. It is operated one weekend a month by a group of four volunteers. It's a small engine once used to haul ore. We 'did our bit' to support them by going for a ride before heading for Zeehan.

    The idea was to meet up in Zeehan for lunch. There's not much in Zeehan on anyday, but on a Sunday it's pretty well closed. We found a hot and greasy and had a toastie and coffee. Not the tastiest ever, but it will do till we reach Strahan - another 42kms.

    Once in Strahan, we found our B&B and moved in. We'll be here for two nights and each room has a washer and drier in the bathroom. So, washing so far will done.

    We agreed to meet up at 3.30pm and have a look around. Guess what? We heard about some waterfalls! The Hogarth Falls are accessed through a park on the edge of town. It is a 1.2km walk each way. The path follows alongside the stream. The tannins in the water created the most amazing colours. In many ways, this was superior to the falls.

    Our dinner booking was for 6.30pm at Risby Cove Restaurant. This had been booked for many months and we were looking forward to a lovely dinner. Unfortunately, it had been re-opened a few days ago with a new chef and it really wasn't as good as they thought it was…
