Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain

Breakfast in Pepper's Restaurant, pack the car, check out and head to the visitor centre to get tickets for the shuttle bus to Dove Lake. The Ranger issuing our tickets told us about two ten minute (?) walks with excellent photo ops. We decided these would be within our capabilities.

After the totally bleak weather on Friday and Saturday, we could not believe our luck with today being clear, sunny and warm.

Arrived at Dove Lake car park about 9.30am. We decided that our first walk was to be to the old boat shed. More than ten minutes but certainly worth the effort. Then back and around to Glacier Rock. The only extra offering on that side really was to be able to photograph the boat shed from across the water.

Then time to head off to Zeehan for lunch…En savoir plus
