    Original remants found at the entrance to the Roman Bath House.This gilded mask of the face of Minerva was found in 1972 while workers were digging up a sewer.

    Amazing look into the deep past...these baths were established around 70 AD...same time the temple in Jerusalem was being sacked. Crazy.

    TravelerNope, but they do divert the water to some other modern baths (Therme Spas) where they utilize the spring water. 😉
