Taughannock Falls

We had a leisurely start to the day at the campsite followed by a hike on the gorge and rim trails. The falls are 215 feet high and the cliffs alongside are substantially higher. We followed this up with a swim in Cayuga lake to chill off .

Late in the afternoon we headed to Wagner vineyards and Wagner valley brewery for wine, beer, and a brisket picnic dinner. Wagner's is located on Seneca Lake. We topped it off with a stop for ice cream on the way back to the campgrounds.Read more
