Camp (& Rest of Drive)

The rest of the drive to camp we went up on a plateau and it was crazy windy up there! But there were also a ton of large groups of reindeer! But the wind…I was glad when we got back down in elevation as the wind wasn’t so crazy then.

The last 7 photos are where we are parked for the night near Alta. We are in the woods a bit off the road and the water is not far! One thing I don’t think I mentioned yet - it takes forever for it to get dark here. It looks like sunset all day, but once the sun actually sets it’s a good hour until it gets dark. In that hour it is still light enough to see - sunset at 6 tonight and I went out at 6:50 and walked through the woods without a light and it was fine! But once that hour is up it feels like it suddenly is pitch black. It’s kind of crazy, but has been nice having a bit more light than I expected!Read more
