• Komsatoppen Hike

    September 29 in Norway ☁️ 8 °C

This morning we woke up to sunny by cloudy skies. We had a few chores to do (groceries and spy on a bakery where we did find some things for afternoon treat! And at the one grocery store we found this vanilla donut that was actually pretty good! It was nice they had all the ingredients listed for their baked goods as most grocery stores do not).

Then we walked up Komsa which is right by the main road and I thought was going to be a more difficult hike! I thought there would be a lot more elevation change, but it was pretty easy going. It was only 1km up, and we were going to go up and back the same way, but once up there we saw there was a slightly longer way back that went out and around so we decided to try that way and see all the views! The views at the top were gorgeous! All the water and mountains and I loved it!! We sat and enjoyed until I got too cold and then we headed on. It was warm in the sun, so once again t-shirt hiking weather, but at the top it was breezy so got a bit chilly. A really nice walk and great start to the day!
