Kjemåfossen Hike

After lunch we headed out on an easy hike to Kjemåfossen. It was a bit rainy, just light rain, but a nice walk through the forest. We kept passing smaller waterfalls that had so much water! And found some more weird fungus, and then we were at the main waterfall and my goodness there was a ton of water!! It was crazy. So loud! And so much mist coming off it we would have been soaked just from that if it hadn’t been raining. It was awesome. We walked up the one side to see it closer and then I looked and you could walk up the other side to the top and cross the river, but that trail seemed way longer than I expected. It wasn’t until the end of the trail when we saw the waterfall from across the river that we saw how big it was! We only saw the lower portion! So much water!Read more
