Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is absolutely incredible! Ticked off another thing on my bucket list by climbing all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower where we had champagne at the very top.

Highlight of the day was coming back at night to see the Eiffel Tower lit up, it was beautiful - unlike anything I have ever seen in my life!

It is weird to think that the Eiffel tower was built in 1889 as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair, it was initially criticized by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but has become both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world.Read more
