Cairo International Airport

I am finally in Egypt, the place I was looking forward to the most on my entire trip!
The traffic is crazy, no lanes, cars everywhere, tailgating, slamming of brakes, mounting kerbs and lots of tooting of horns!
Our guide told us that they have stop lights but no one obeys and 25% of drivers dont have license and that crossing the road is an adventure - let's just say I believe him!

When we arrived we were escorted to our coach where we had a Police escort all the way to the hotel. We were told the whole wee we would have a Police Officer escorting us in each city.Baca selengkapnya
