6. Khao Sok

We finally arrived in Khao Sok about 11am, it was a really scenic drive into the park. It felt very much like jurassic park driving in and this is one of the oldest rainforests in the world, at 160 million years old, in contrast The Amazon is 10 million years old!
Our jungle hut room wasn't available until 2pm so after choosing the tour we were going to do, we headed into town for some food and an explore.
Everything feels very jungly and humid, the noises from the surrounding trees humming like a soundtrack. It has a really clean river going through the centre of the village and loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. We had some lunch and headed back to get settled into our room. Our tree house room is awesome, such a great view from the front and very cosy and cool on the inside. After a power nap to keep us going we got ready for our outing tomorrow and had some dinner. Both slept really well listening to the monkeys and jungle sounds outside!Baca lagi
