28. New Year Eve

Breakfast and then chilled in the sun today, we tried to have an easy day as we knew tonight was going to be a late one. About 7ish we got into gear and headed down to Sai ree beach, we went back to the same restaurant we had Christmas dinner as the food was really good. They had a BBQ on tonight so we enjoyed that and sank a few cocktails. Afterwards we took a walk along the beach and found a couple of cool beachfront venues. The whole place was alive. We stocked up on the huge G and Ts as they were on offer before 10 and enjoyed these whilst having a boogie and enjoying the music. When it hit 12 there was a huge countdown and fireworks. It was great fun, after sinking more gins we called it a night. Taxi home and both passed out eating crisps fully clothed with the lights on.. 😂Read more
