40. Sam Roi Yot

Today we woke up to a storm, wind swirling and waves crashing. We decided to use this to our advantage and have a planning / penguins day. We have planned to do a huge transfer upto Chiang Mai rather than do it in bits and bobs, we are very conscious that our visa for Thailand is up soon, so we need to prioritise what we really want to do and heading north was first on our agenda, perhaps we will come back later down the trip and do the central Thailand bits. Tomorrow our journey starts at 10am and will finish at 8am in Chiang Mai. 5 hours to Bangkok and then 7 hour wait and then 10 hours overnight into Chiang Mai. We have paid extra for the super Vip bus so hopefully we can sleep enroute. They always sound so much better described than they actually are though 😂. Nice dinner and bed ready for tomorrow.Læs mere
