Sikh Temple

Sikh Temple on old Delhi. We were shown around the multiple buildings of the temple and then we were able to help in the kitchens of the GIANT canteen. Everyday they serve 50,000 people, they rely on the generosity of people to help make the food and also of the wealthy to pay for the food, as the meals are completely free!

I helped make the roti bread, from rolling the bread, to then cooking it on the hot plate and open flames, it really was a fantastic experience!Meer informatie
