Fushimi Inari- snacks

Couldn’t help but try these traditional Japanese snacks at the outdoor market by the Fushimi Inari.

1) Takoyaki (octopus dumplings): batter mix cooked with pieces of octopus inside, these are then fried and topped with teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise, aonori seaweed, and katsuobushi bonito fish flakes.

2) Dango: Japanese dumpling made from mochiko (rice flour), these are then skewered and served with a sweet sauce. Very tasty!Read more
