Miyajima Island

Visiting the small island of Miyajima this morning, this is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Japan’s most visited tourist spots. The most important attraction on the island is Itsukushima-jinja, which has this element of looking like its floating on the waves when the tide came in later in the day. The temple is also home to vermilion torri (shrine gate) (sadly undergoing restoration for the next 4 years so not visible).Baca selengkapnya
