Market Street

To start the day I decide to work the 6.6KM to the Eastern State Prison, walking down market street along Benjamin Franklin Parkway (to the Rocky Steps) and then turning back towards the prison.

On the walk I saw:
• Independence Hall (I’ll visit later today).
• Reading Terminal, beautiful old train station terminus used up to 1984, which is now a corner shop and Hard Rock Cafe.
• City Hall
• Masonic Temple (I think it’s their HQ but don’t quote me).
• Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul
• Museum Quarter
• and I finished up just outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art… better known as the steps from the film Rocky (see other post for pictures of this).Okumaya devam et
