    Independence Hall

    March 12, 2023 in the United States ⋅ ☁️ 8 °C

Final stop today is Independence Hall. Built in 1732 it is said to be the birth place of the United States as it is the site that both the United States Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated and adopted by America's Founding Fathers.

The first room we entered was the where the original Pennsylvania Supreme Court met during the colonial and early national periods, but the room hosted other courts and even a museum later in its history.

The second room was where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were both signed.

Though most of the artefacts were not present at the time of the signing, the seal in the Supreme Court is original, and the chair in the centre of the legislature room is also original. This fair was used by the first president of the United States George Washington for nearly three months of the Constitutional Convention's.

Most importantly though it’s the set of National Treasure!!!!
