Orrison our first shared pilgrim meal

Last night we had a magical meal with strangers from all over the world and this time will be engraved into my heart forever. We shared our meal and as dessert was served I shared that one of our roommates was celebrating her birthday and that I had heard another gentleman was as well.
Lisa from the Gold Coast of Australia had specifically planned on being in Orrison to celebrate and we soon found out it was Flavio’s birthday from Brazil, so I asked everyone to sing Happy Birthday in whatever language they wanted and so we sang, what happened next was beautiful, different people stood up and sang in their native language. The first video is in Taiwanese the second in Korean. We heard at least have a dozen different rendition’s.
Later in the evening each Pilgrim shared their name, where they were from and why they were walking? There were so many heartfelt reasons and so many bonds and connections made. I’ll say it again we are so fortunate and blessed to be experiencing the Caminó Frances.Read more
