A stroll to Los Arcos a “Lovely Day”

We had a great nights sleep and left after everyone else around 7:30am the weather was gorgeous all day and we walked just over 14 miles from our AirBnB to the square in Los Arcos where we met up with Jim and Melanie and Dino and Becky. The miles just clicked off and Javier and I walked into town listening to Bill Wither’s sing “Lovely Day”. We’re staying at Pension Los Arcos, I was able to soak 🛁 in the tub, a little piece of heaven.
We then walked to a cute little bakery and bought breakfast for tomorrow. We ended up back at the square and ran into our friend Jeff from Florida and I gave him a Caminó amulet. Jav and I shared a pitcher of Sangria and we’ll grab dinner later once Siesta time is over. Tomorrow will be our farthest day yet, praying for strength and perseverance for us and our fellow pilgrims.Read more
