Calzadilla de los Hermanillos

We started the day with breakfast at our Albergue, after a few miles we stopped for a custom wax stamp by Mateo from Italy, again we ran into our friend Jose. The morning went by quickly and we hit the halfway point on the Caminó and then stopped for lunch in Sahagún where Jim had a humongous burger. The weather was so beautiful and the miles clicked off pretty quickly. The last few miles seemed to go on forever so Jav and I turned on his playlist and we sang along to our favorites Dire Straights, Jackson Browne, Niel Young, U2 and Cat Steven’s it fun to sing when no one is listening. We got checked in and sat in the front patio having a beer and visiting with the other pilgrims. We enjoyed our dinner and will get up and do it all again tomorrow.Read more
