Cacabelos, Spain

14.5 miles today, varied terrain. Went under 200 kilometers to Santiago! Judging by the looks on my fellow pilgrims faces, people are tired but still joyful.
I am joyful.

Today was a day for just plain getting it done. I heard no music in my footsteps. I had no aches and pains, but I wasnt very motivated to enjoy it. In other words, a perfect "the journey is the reward" day. And i'm proud to have accomplished it.

I'm also well fed. Our pilgrims menu was quite good, and as always, the days' end beer was amazing.Read more
