Zero day Santiago de Compostela

We didn’t have to get up and walk today. My body naturally woke up around 5:30am even though we stayed up until 11:30pm last night.
We enjoyed our breakfast, coffee and churros for me.
Javier and I then attended Mass at 9:30am and then stayed in the square waiting and watching our friends arrive.
We met up with Chris and Maureen and enjoyed another coffee as we shared stories and reminisced about our Caminó experience.
I then got a permanent souvenir, a new tattoo.
We then went and had Mexican food in Spain, it did the job especially all the pickled jalapeños we added. It didn’t compare to home but we all really did enjoy.
Tomorrow we part ways with our companions, we’re off to Vigo and Porto and they’re heading to Lisbon.
The four amigos will reunite back home in Vallarta soon and we look forward to a lifetime of adventures together 💜
