Day 400: East to Valencia

Another long day of driving today - almost 4 hours. We left our hotel around 11am after a complimentary buffet breakfast (surprisingly decent for a budget hotel), and spent the next few hours driving across Spain. At least the snow had stopped and the sun was out!

First couple of hours were quite boring as we skirted Madrid and drove across arid plains, but the last hour or so where the country got more rugged was quite interesting.

Arrived in Valencia about 3pm and went straight to our Airbnb - a good sized fourth floor apartment. The woman hosting was quite chatty and we spent a bit of time talking to her before settling in. Shandos went to the supermarket for some supplies, but otherwise we stayed indoors, looking forward to exploring tomorrow!Read more
