🇩🇪 Tag 60: 6 km Ship Cove - Schoolhouse Bay Camp

Hallo Südinsel 👋 Heute haben wir mit der Fähre von Wellington nach Picton übergesetzt. Sobald man in die Arme der Südinsel fährt, fühlt man sich in eine andere Welt versetzt. Im Anschluss sind wir mit einem Boot weiter zum Start des Queen Charlotte Track gefahren. Auf dem Weg konnten wir Robben, den seltenen King Shaq und Hector Delphine sehen, die kleinste und sehr seltene Delphinart. Glücklich kamen wir in Ship Cove an. Und haben gleich mit den räuberischen Weka Hühnern gemacht. Diese wollen einfach alles stibitzen. Auf den ersten Kilometern zum ersten Camp hatten wir dann schon die ersten genialen Ausblicke, die Lust auf mehr machen. 🥰

🇺🇸 Day 60: 6km Ship Cove - Schoolhouse Bay Camp

Hello South Island 👋 Today we took the ferry from Wellington to Picton. As soon as you enter the arms of the South Island, you feel like you have been transported to another world. We then took a boat to the start of the Queen Charlotte Track. On the way we were able to see seals, the rare King Shaq and Hector dolphins, the smallest and very rare species of dolphin. We arrived happily at Ship Cove. And we immediately dealt with the predatory Weka chickens. They just want to steal everything. On the first few kilometers to the first camp we had the first brilliant views that made us want more. 🥰Baca lagi
