Te Araroa - Tag 96

🇩🇪 Tag 96: 17,6 km Fern Burn Hut - Roses Hut

Von anderen Wanderern wurde ich schon mehrmals gewarnt, heute sollte es noch mal ganz schön hart werden. Insgesamt ging es drei mal 400-500 m steil hoch und wieder runter. Aber die Landschaft war einfach grandios und man wurde oben immer mit geilen Aussichten belohnt. Dennoch war ich bzw. meine Knie froh, in der Roses Hut anzukommen.

Other hikers always warned me, today should be once again quite hard. Overall the trail went three times steeply up and down again for about 400-500 m. But the landscape was absolutely awesome and at the top you were always rewarded with great views. Still I or better say my knees were really happy to arrive at Roses Hut.Read more
