Te Araroa - Tag 104

🇩🇪 Tag 104: 28,6 km Birchwood Shearer Station - Merriview Hut

Gleich zu Beginn ging es heute auf den höchsten Punkt. Typisch für Neuseeland einfach kerzengerade nach oben. 🙈 Von oben hatte ich einen schönen Blick auf die Berge der letzten Tage. Der Abstieg verlief durch hübschen Wald. Je weiter ich an die Küste komme, desto flacher wird die Landschaft. Gegen Ende führte der Weg noch durch weniger schönen wirtschaftlich genutzten Fichtenwald.

🇺🇸 Day 104: 28.6 km Birchwood Shearer Station - Merriview Hut

Right at the beginning today the trail went up to the highest point. Typically for New Zealand, it’s straight up. 🙈 From above I had a beautiful view of the mountains of the last few days. The descent went through pretty forest. The further I get to the coast, the flatter the landscape becomes. Towards the end the path led through a less beautiful commercially used spruce forest.Leggi altro
