Traveling Day

Yesterday, I flew from TYR to DFW then a quick layover to fly MIA. Thankfully there was no one in the middle seat.

I got a transfer from MIA to the Best Western hotel. I settled in. Took a nap. A zoom call.

Then an afternoon with Dorothy. I’ve known Dorothy since 1986. We laughed. We walked down memory lane and we ate dinner together. Dorothy still lives in Santa Cruz with Jake. They had a 48 hour layover here and being so close to her, I switched my flight to 1 day soon. Yeah. What a special friend.

We closed the night with a FaceTime visit with Ellen and a fone call to Karen. Each called then “Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Jake”. My heart smiled-such respect, since they knew them as children living on the mission field.Read more
