Day 5 Casablanca, Morocco (19)

Great day in Casablanca.
We took a 5 hour tour of Casablanca. We stopped at Hassan II mosque - built in just 8 years back in the 90’s. It has retracting doors that open up and down allowing light in. It is built over the Atlantic Ocean. We learned more interesting facts. We took our shoes off and walked on the marble floor. There’s not any icons or symbols at all, just the lines and round symbols.

We walked through the fish market and artesian market where you can buy pottery, rugs and spices.

We stopped at the palace and saw huge doors.
