Then Pointe du Hoc where there are German bunkers that would attack the Americans when they landed on the beach of Omaha. Notice the high cliffs in the back ground.

Your pictures took me back to our visits there. The cemetery is overwhelming and emotional. Especially the crosses ones that honor those "Known only to God." Their mother's never knew what happened.
