Viana is the last city in Navarra. Behind it, a little down the hill, La Rioja begins. Stopping for ice cream and a short break in the shade sounded just too perfect to pass up.

MikkaTo me this is the only downside to the Camino - you never have enough time to explore the small streets and towns. During the day you have your walk and in the evening you’re too tired.
