Puno & Lake Titikaka

On the way to Puno & Lake Titicaca:
We landed at a small airport in Juliana (or something like that). The city is a huge mess. Worse than a giant slum. Our guide tells us the people actually have lots of money from all the illegal activities there but they refuse to pay taxes so there is minimal infrastructure. No one to fix roads or pick up the trash.
I need to find a few photos of it but we were riding in the bus and only got glimpses.

We made a brief stop at 14000 ft to take photos. Those are the shots with the beautiful mountains.

Our hotel in Puno is sub-optimal but they do have a lovely bread boat at the breakfast buffet. And a beautiful spiral staircase. Bev tried walking up to our 5th floor rooms and barely made it.
