Day 2 North Cascades NP

Slept well in the little borrowed pup tent. It was actually much warmer than I expected. Had to take off the long pants and long sleeve shirt halfway through the night.

David had my tea all ready when I got up. We packed up and headed to the visitor center. We checked out the FF campsites and everything was taken.

Took a short hike to a scenic view overlooking Lake ..... Had a little yogurt and granola before checking some more sites. Then took a hike.

It looked like there might be some forest service dispersed camping on the other side of the park. So we headed East. The views were lovely. And suddenly we came to a campground that was not on the maps and didn't even show up on my Garmin. And it had Lots Of Available Sites. It's a really nice area. Our timing was perfect.Leggi altro
