Hoh Rainforest

Made it to the Hoh Rainforest before the crowds. I was able to do the 1 mile walk. My legs are not ready for more. Jay had to wear her Service Vest as the area is not pet friendly. She.did.fine. but I think I'd like to come back dog free and do a longer hike.

I've been listening to The Hobbit and enjoying it thoroughly. I also finished reading an actual paper book: Sweet Dreams at the Goodnight Motel by Curtis's Ann Matlock. I really liked it. It was I guess what one might call a good summer read, uplifting, woman focused & easy to read plus a happy ending. I think I will look for more of her books. I need more upbeat stuff right now.Read more
