Lima - day one

The journey from Ica was really nice and not that long. We have researched how to get to the hostel but nothing prepared us for the mayhem of the Metropolitano buses we needed to take there.
It was absolutely overflowing with people and to get in you really needed sharp elbows. On the top of that we had our huge backpacks what made the journey even more entertaining.
Once we arrived, we got settled pretty quickly and decided to head towards the historic city centre for the evening.
It was easy to navigate and looked amazing. There wasn't many tourist but lots of locals as there were different performances directly on the square and open air cinema with my favourite screen shot :) I was laughing for ages afterwards.
We didn't stay too long and after quick dinner we headed back home to get a shower and a good night sleep.Læs mere
