Medellín & Fernando Botera

Fernando Botera is a Colombian artist known all over the world for his very distinctive style known as "Boterismo".
May of his sculptures are displayed in prominent location all over the world but those in his home town Medellín have a special significance.
We have seen his "birds" sculptures at the Plaza San Antonio with very powerful message.
Many of his sculptures are gathered at Plaza Botero. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to take the best pictures but still, walking around his "fat" statues has been very entertaining.Leer más
