Oklahoma thru to Aunt Chris!

Drove pretty much straight thru from Enid, Oklahoma to Fayetteville...about 250 miles. But it also cost us about $15.00 in tolls! Well besides the $125 fill up...) Who knew? We managed to take 3 different turnpike before we realized that turnpike is synonymous with toll roads. And apparently you need 💸🤑 the real stuff, not an ATM card. As one toll keeper (?) told us, you either pay or "work the potholes". Scraped enough up for the first one and then made sure we stopped in our drive to get more cash. As we left the last turnpike, Tom asked about them... why so many in this one drive, and this toll keeper just smiled and said "welcome to Oklahoma!"

We ended the day parking the RV at the Heinzelmanns and transferring some clothing, overnight items and Auggie to spend the night at Chris's. Frank got a quiet night to himself!Les mer
