    Today we got to sleep in! Our first activity did not start until mid-morning, so we got to wake up leisurely and eat breakfast together in our hotels' open air restaurant. Afterward, we got picked up by shuttle and taken to our day's first activity where we rode 4-wheelers, hiked to and swam in a waterfall, and ate a fantastic Costa Rican chicken and rice lunch.

    When the sun set we got to go on a jungle night tour and see some awesome creatures that are difficult to see and/or hear during the day. We saw a family of caymen, some cool frogs and toads, a couple snakes, and unfortunately a few banana spiders. The banana spider (or Brazilian wandering spider) is actually one of the most toxic spiders in the world and it is WILD to have been so close to them.
