Magothy Bay hike

2.5 miles around marshland. Noticed some wetland birds that Icannot identify. Plus a brood of momma and 3 baby peacocks I think. Gray but with the telltale crown, and I spotted the blue male down the road. No plumage.
Mom sent me off to do the full loop while she got eaten up by skeeters. Not wanting to leave her alone too long, it was the fastest 4k I’ve done.
Even with the fast walk, I managed to marvel at the marsh birds and cycle of life in the estuary.
Its fun to pretend that I’ll get some of this flat grass and sand path on my way.Read more
