Uluru on 2 Wheels

Another early morning and our first venture into Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park.
A quick bicycle indoctrination by a very friendly local (Lehi) and we were off - circling the rock anticlockwise.
This is a fantastic way to view Uluru - highly recommended. The route is flat. Take a large bottle of water as the water tanks en route host virtually impalatable H2O. It took us about 2.5 hours to navigate the 15km ride. Many photo stops and we will be back tomorrow to venture into the 2 gorges.
We then drove around Uluru - there are some great photo opportunities just that little further from the track around it.Read more
