Isla del Lobos

Today we took a short ferry ride to the small islote off the coast of Corralejo. Once populated by sea lions, it was named the ‘Isle of Wolves’ due to the barking sound they made. It’s now a nature reserve and only 200 people are allowed to visit at any one time. We visited the El Puertito natural pools and beach. There and no cars and no inhabitants of the island now. There is one restaurant and a small beach. It takes 40 mins to walk the entire length.Read more
