It was finally time for some nature, after spending so many days in cities.

When doing some research for this vacation, we realized there's an island just 30 minutes away by ferry from Tallinn, so we planned a full day for hiking across that island today.

We arrived at around 10:30 in the morning and arrived back at the dock by around 15:30.
After eating some food at the Café, we waited for a while and then took the ferry back at 18:30.

The island is very pretty, very silent, clean and there were not many other people around. There's also a lot to see, since it used to be a military station. The landscape is very varied too even though the island isn't big. If you're ever in Tallinn and have a day to spare, this island is a clear recommendation.Read more
