This mount, which features the outline of a Buddha image engraved into the rock face using lasers, was created in tribute to King Rama IX on the 50th anniversary of his ascension to the throne. The image of a seated Buddha in the attitude of subduing Mara is 30 metres in height and 70 metres in width and is known as Maha Vajira Uttamobhassada, meaning the great prophet who brings enlightenment. The area surrounding the mount features some pretty, well-kept gardens that are lovingly maintained by the Thai Royal Marine Corps. Open daily 08.00 - 18.00 hrs.

Located on Sukhumvit road, it can be reached via bus, taxi or private land transportation. It is also a major scientific center dedicated to cycads, with its own Cycad Gene Bank.

Standing beside Sukumvit Road, this collection of tropical fish from the waters off the Gulf of Thailand features a 105-metre-long glass tunnel that visitors can walk through for a 180-degree view of the marine life. The tunnel is divided into 4 zones, the first of which features beautiful examples of rare coral species. The second section features cartilaginous fish such as rays and sharks, while the third zone features a life size replica of a ship where shoals of tropical fish and species of turtle swim freely. The final zone features large fish species from the Amazon. There are also feeding displays, both on the surface and in the aquarium itself. Open daily 09.00 – 18.00 hrs. Pattaya Hill (Khao Phra Tamnak / Khao Phra Bat) is famous because it’s a great place to come and relax while absorbing the breathtaking sea views overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. It is the highest vantage point and viewpoint in the Pattaya region and the best spot to look down on the city.

Ta Prohm is the modern name of a temple near the city of Siem Reap, Cambodia, approximately one kilometre east of Angkor Thom and on the southern edge of the East Baray. It was built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th century and early 13th century and was originally called Rajavihara (Royal Monastery"). It was founded by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery and center of learning dedicated to his mother. Almost 80,000 people were required to live in or visit the temple, including over 2,700 officials and 615 dancers.

Floating boat in the river

Chong Kneas Floating Village
Located 16 km south of the Siem Reap city center and 5 km south of Phnom Kroam, Chong Kneas is one of the most popular of the several floating villages that line the great Tonle Sap Lake. It is accessed easily by a good sealed road that leads to the pier and ticket office and is very close to the mountain temple of Phnom Krom, a popular sunset spot.
From, the ticket office, which is located by the boat pier and about 3km upstream of the floating village itself. There is a road that leads part way to the village although this is usually underwater and only open to locals.
The boat tour lasts around 2 hours along the river to the edge of the Tonle Sap, looping around the “island” and passing by the floating homes and shops of the small fishing community, with a couple of stops. You also get a grand view out over the open waters of the Tonle Sap, which can be spectacular at sunset, and then back to the pier.

Administratively, the bay belongs to Hạ Long city, Cẩm Phả city, and is a part of Vân Đồn district. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and islets in various shapes and sizes. Hạ Long Bay is a center of a larger zone that includes Bai Tu Long Bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà Island to the southwest. Halong Bay Cave

Sung Sot cave is the largest and possibly the most frequented by visitors of all the caverns in Halong. It is also home to various rocky islets with unique shapes. The path to Sung Sot cave is through the forest canopy, allowing visitors to experience the pleasure and exhilaration of climbing the cave.
Location
Sung Sot Cave, located in the heart of Halong Bay and the Tonkin Gulf, was named one of the top ten most beautiful caves in the world by the Czech Association of Travel Agents and Brokers.
History
In 1901, a French scientist visited this cave and named it "Grotte de la surprise" - the cave of surprise and wonder. This name, however, was not recognized until 40 years later. Sung Sot Cave welcomed its first visitors in 1993, just one year before UNESCO declared Halong Bay's core region as a World Natural Heritage site.

Cau The Huc, a red wooden bridge is located in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. On the middle of the lake, Ngoc Son Temple is situated. To reach the temple one has to cross Cau The Huc bridge for about 1-2 min by slow walk. To enter the Cau The Huc bridge one has buy a entrance ticket which is collected for visiting Ngoc Son Temple as well as to walk on the Cau The Huc bridge. On the land side are a huge tree garden with paved way for walk on one side and a flower garden on the other side located. Totally a good 30 to 40 minutes can be spent here. From the bridge one will have good view of the Hanoi city. The nearest attraction is Old Quarter.
