Travelling via Sorong and Waisai to Kri

We flew via Makassar to Sorong which is in Papua. We then had to take a taxi to the harbour where we waited for two hours to get on the ferry to Waisai, which is the starting point for tours in Raja Ampat. You have to pay 1 mio IDR (=about 60 Euros) to be allowed to enter the national park.
After some messages and phone calls we were finally picked up by a speed boat and were taken to our homestay on Kri, a small island about an hour away from Waisai which is famous for its fabulous snorkeling spots. Our homestay was very basic and it was quite a challenge to stay there – espescially for Ingrid and Philippe, but in the end the positive aspects weighted much more.
