Canal tour with Tailah

After spending most of the rest of the day in bed, reading, relaxing, sleeping, we were picked up by Tailah, an apparently famous guide in Banjarmasin who took us on a canal tour around the city. He was super excited and could hardly believe that we were real since we were the first foreign tourists since the beginning of the pandemic. We got a very good impression of how the average person lives in Banjarmasin. Tailah seemed to know almost everybody and obviously enjoyed the envious looks he received due to our presence.Read more
