Arriving outside of Manado

We finally made it to Manado airport and then took a taxi to our hotel which was outside of the city. The landscape in Northern Sulawesi is beautiful, I immediately fell in love with the place. It's very hilly and extremely lush. The still ongoing lock down at the time permitted us to stay at a beautiful hotel which would have otherwise been outside of our price range. It had a large garden with a nice pool and nice mangroves at the shore. From there we were able to see Bunaken National Park with the prominent Manado Tua in the background.Read more
