Just outside the Spanish Riding School in Michaelplatz is the excavated Roman Ruins. They are in the centre of a very busy traffic area but they are well preserved and protected.

Natural History Museum of Vienna

Did you know that taxidermists have World Championships? I didn't - apparently one of the employees here won 2nd prize in the world taxidermy championships in 2012.

Walking back to the hotel we pass the front of the Opera House and the Vienna Philharmonic Hall. There are stars on the sidewalk at the Philharmonic.
